Wild Boar Jerky (with Cider)

Flavourful and rich with a satisfying bite, crumbly even. These lean wild boar slices have been marinaded in cider before being spiced, including wholegrain mustard, and dried for preservation.

Evidence shows that Middle East and oriental cultures actively dried foods in the hot sun as early as 12,000 B.C.

Our specialist Martin has a background in dried, pickled and smoked foods and started making historically inspired foods just over a decade ago. From his base in South Wales he preserves fresh hand selected foods using just the most simple ingredients.

Free range wild boar is marinaded in cider and wholegrain MUSTARD, herbs and garlic, before being naturally air dried. It is absolutely delicious and a favourite of Shannon.
