Jacob Sheepskin - Rough Cut

Probably the closest thing you’ll ever own to a Bronze Age fur. A rough cut native British Jacob sheepskin created using a by-product skin.

The original home of Jacobs Sheep is unclear, but it is thought they could well be of Mediterranean descent. Without doubt they are one of the oldest breeds of domestic sheep, with accounts of them documented as far back as 1800BC.

The Jacob is generally considered to be an “unimproved” or “heirloom” breed (one that has survived with little human selection).

This cut makes best use of the skin – anything that can be used is left on, as long as it can be processed cleanly.
